The 9th International MUN, 2026, kicks off at CGC Landran

The 9th CGC International MUN, organized by the Department of International Affairs, CGC Landran, commenced on a spectacular note today. The inaugural ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Ms. Alba Smeriglio, British Deputy High Commissioner, Chandigarh; the Guests of Honour, Ms. Madhu Mishra, Senior Advisor, Economics, Climate & Development, British Deputy High Commission, Chandigarh; and Mr. Vishal Khanna, Branch Head, IDP. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director, CGC Landran; Dr. Ramandeep Saini, Director-Principal, CBSA, and Founder of CGC International MUN; Ms. Aishna Mahajan, Head of International Affairs; and the Directors and Deans of the institution.

Inspiring keynote addresses encouraged participants to use this platform to enhance leadership skills, debate with empathy, respect diverse perspectives, become better listeners, and resolve issues through dialogue and partnership.
