CGC offers lateral entry in eleven B.Tech streams: B.Tech - CSE Leet, B.Tech - IT Leet, B.Tech - AI & DS Leet, B.Tech - AI & ML Leet, B.Tech-CSE (Cyber Security) Leet, B.Tech-Robotics & Artificial Intelligence Leet, B.Tech - Electronics and Computer Engineering Leet, B.Tech-CSE (Data Science) Leet, B.Tech - CSE (Internet of things & Cyber Sec. including Blockchain) Leet, B.Tech - ME Leet, B.Tech - ECE Leet. Taking admission in any B.Tech program through B.Tech LEET ensures that the candidate is admitted directly to the 2nd Year (3rd semester BTech program).

Passing of the 3 year/2 year lateral Entry Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution/recognised university as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in any branch of Engineering & Technology.

Passing of the B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject shall be eligible to apply.
OR
Passing of B. Voc. / 3 years D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
