B.TECH Lateral Entry (LEET)

B. Tech LEET refers to the lateral entry in any B.Tech program. CGC offers lateral entry in eleven B.Tech streams: B.Tech - CSE Leet, B.Tech - IT Leet, B.Tech - AI & DS Leet, B.Tech - AI & ML Leet, B.Tech-CSE (Cyber Security) Leet, B.Tech-Robotics & Artificial Intelligence Leet, B.Tech - Electronics and Computer Engineering Leet, B.Tech-CSE (Data Science) Leet, B.Tech - CSE (Internet of things & Cyber Sec. including Blockchain) Leet, B.Tech - ME Leet, B.Tech - ECE Leet. Taking admission in any B.Tech program through B.Tech LEET ensures that the candidate is admitted directly to the 2nd Year (3rd semester BTech program).

B.Tech LEET Program Goals and Advantages

 B.Tech Computer Science Engineering LEET- To create an understanding of the field including scientific principles, analysis techniques, and design methodologies. It aims at helping students in getting acquainted with the current industry trends by employing the latest tools, techniques, and methods prevalent in the industry.

 B.Tech Information Technology LEET- This program aims at inculcating students with effective communication and technical skills to make them industry-ready. It also aims at making students proactive by instilling them with problem-solving skills.

 B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering LEET- The program aims at inculcating students with an understanding of the latest working methods, tools, and techniques under this industry by making them undergo various training programs. Also, it focuses on helping them prepare for future opportunities.

 B.Tech CSE (Cyber Security) LEET- This program focuses on building expertise in safeguarding digital systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Duration: 3 years

Eligibility Criteria

1

Passing of the 3 year/2 year lateral Entry Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution/recognised university as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in any branch of Engineering & Technology.
OR

2

Passing of the B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject shall be eligible to apply.
OR

3

Passing of B. Voc. / 3 years D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
