B. Tech LEET refers to the lateral entry in any B.Tech program. CGC offers lateral entry in eleven B.Tech streams: B.Tech - CSE Leet, B.Tech - IT Leet, B.Tech - AI & DS Leet, B.Tech - AI & ML Leet, B.Tech-CSE (Cyber Security) Leet, B.Tech-Robotics & Artificial Intelligence Leet, B.Tech - Electronics and Computer Engineering Leet, B.Tech-CSE (Data Science) Leet, B.Tech - CSE (Internet of things & Cyber Sec. including Blockchain) Leet, B.Tech - ME Leet, B.Tech - ECE Leet. Taking admission in any B.Tech program through B.Tech LEET ensures that the candidate is admitted directly to the 2nd Year (3rd semester BTech program).

The candidates who opt for B.Tech Lateral Entry enjoy the same benefits as other students because the specialized course study starts from the 2nd year. In the first year’s course of study, the students are introduced to the basics of each branch and are given an overview of what they will be studying in the upcoming years.

B.Tech LEET Program Goals and Advantages

B.Tech Computer Science Engineering:To create an understanding of the field including scientific principles, analysis techniques, and design methodologies. It aims at helping students in getting acquainted with the current industry trends by employing the latest tools, techniques, and methods prevalent in the industry.

B.Tech Information Technology: This program aims at inculcating students with effective communication and technical skills to make them industry-ready. It also aims at making students proactive by instilling them with problem-solving skills.

B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering:The program aims at inculcating students with an understanding of the latest working methods, tools, and techniques under this industry by making them undergo various training programs. Also, it focuses on helping them prepare for future opportunities.

B.Tech Mechanical Engineering: The main focus is to help students in learning the principles associated with designing, assembling, and structuring machines using the latest technology. It also aims at making students industry-ready and prepared for solving industry-related problems.

Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science- This four-year undergraduate program has been specifically designed to provide a platform for students for a prospective career in the highly evolving data science industry. To produce graduates who are well versed with theoretical knowledge and the skill set to address all aspects of creating, managing, processing, and converting data to knowledge with specific practical applications of AI.
