HOSTEL FEE RULES (BOYS AND GIRLS)

- The hostel fee structure gets revised every year, i.e. before the beginning of the Academic session. The existing fee structure of hostels applicable for session 25-26 is as under.

 Non AC 2 Seater Rs1,40,000/-

 Non AC 3 Seater Rs 1,40,000/-

 Non AC 4 Seater Rs 1,15,000/-

 AC 2 Seater Rs 1,70,000/-

 AC 3 Seater Rs 1,60,000/-

- Hostel allotment is made for the full academic session and not for semester. Hostel can be booked in advance by depositing the nominal charges as mandated from time to time but not less than Rs 10,000 non-refundable.

- The hostel fee is to be deposited for the full academic year before occupying the hostel, except in the cases where there is approval of the management or the parents / guardian, give the undertaking in writing in the form attached with the rule book in the form of affidavit. Academic session starts from 1st July and ends on 30th June (Semester from July-December and January -June)

- It is also mandatory to occupy hostel for full academic year though in exceptional cases the permission may be accorded to deposit hostel fee in two instalments. Students are desired to deposit the hostel fee on or before 31st of Dec for odd semester or on the date specified by the administration department depending upon commencement of semester. Rs 400/-fine per day shall be levied on the students in case of late fee submission unless in case of a genuine reason with approved application from management.

- Parents /guardian shall give undertaking before occupying the hostel that they shall keep their ward in hostel for full academic year. In case they plan to leave after semester management shall be well with in its right to charge the fee for remaining semester. In case the same is not done by the parents/ guardian the fee shall be deducted from the academic fee.

- Once the hostel fee is deposited and the student after getting admission decides not to stay in hostel the same shall be adjusted in academic fee after deducting 3 months (fixed charges) plus the fee for number of days student stays in hostel.

- In the event of perspective student not occupying hostel the booking advance shall not be refunded.

- Once the student occupies the accommodation in the hostel, and stays for two months, (starting from date of his reporting in hostel) and decides to leave on any grounds, full semester fee shall be charged from the student.

- In case of student leaving the academic seat student shall be refunded the hostel fee after deducting 3 months hostel fee plus fee for the number of days student stays in hostel.

- Administration department shall send the circular fixing the date for submission of hostel fee, well in advance .Except in cases where permission in writing is accorded the fee is mandated to be deposited failing which management shall be well with in its right to impose fine as deemed fit on the daily basis over and above the fee.

- If the student is involved in the disciplinary case and is expelled from hostel his fee shall be forfeited.


1 Cancellation of hostel seat between last date of PTU admission date and first day of academic session and if student has not occupied 100 percent fee shall be refunded after deduction of Rs 1000/- processing charges and booking charges max up to 10,000 if paid
2 Cancellation of hostel seat between last date of PTU admission date and first day of academic session and if student has occupied the seat The refund will be calculated on prorate basis on academic year basis (fixed charges). But not less than Rs 10,000/-
3 In the case of post commencement of classes, and non-occupancy Refund shall be calculated on date of receipt of request on prorate basis on fixed charges but not less than 10,000, and on biweekly basis
4 In the case of post commencement of classes, and occupancy exceeding one month from date of occupying the seat Fee shall not be refunded
5 In the case of post commencement of classes, and occupancy not one month from date of occupying the seat Fee shall be refunded on prorate basis on fixed charges
6 In the event of hosteller desires to leave his seat after occupying for one semester or part thereof He shall be refunded fee on prorate basis if he gets his replacement to occupy his vacant seat for rest of the academic year

i. In the event of undermentioned circumstances

 Withdrawal due to suspension only food charges shall be refunded on prorate basis post vacation of room.

 Withdrawal post start of academic session due to medical conditions duly ratified by the certified medical authorities refund will be c

 alculated on prorate basis on yearly charges including food charges.

 Withdrawal due to demise of father / mother with occupancy refund will be calculated on basis of yearly charges including food.
