CGC Landran Hosts Regional AIM SUMVAAD – North Edition 2026

Proud Moment for Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran as the campus successfully hosted the Regional AIM SUMVAAD – North Edition on 5th May 2026 in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI Aayog. The prestigious conclave served as a dynamic platform to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem across North India, bringing together policymakers, incubator leaders, academia, industry experts, investors, and startup ecosystem enablers from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Delhi.

A major highlight of the conclave was the Joint Chapter Northern Region “Incubation Consortium” Launch of Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab, inaugurated by Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman CGC Landran, alongside Prof. (Dr.) Rajdeep Singh (Campus Director), Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma (Dean, R&D), Ms. Deepika Rana Khatri (IAS), S. Deepinder Singh Dhillon (Jt Director at Govt. of punjab), Mr. Prasad Menon ((CEO, CIBA)), and Mr. Prateek Deshmukh (Program Lead, AIM, NITI Aayog | Director, Ashiyana Group | IIT | ISB). Addressing the gathering, Satnam Singh Sandhu emphasized the importance of collaborative innovation platforms that leverage regional strengths and create new opportunities for Startups, youth, and industry. Another highlight of this prestigious conclave was the launch of PI-RAHI (PU-IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations Foundation Northern S&T Cluster). This joint initiative is envisioned to build a connected Northern Incubation Network between Punjab and J&K. Adding another significant dimension to the event, Dr. Aashish Chaudhary, Director of Akash Hospital, delivered an insightful session on Transforming Healthcare Innovation.
