Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA) in association with the National Commission for Women, New Delhi organized an event “Rise and Lead”. The event started with the opening speech by Lt. Ashutosh Pande, Under Secretary, National Commission for Women (NCW), India. The sessions began with a discussion by Mr. Joseph Jude, CTO of Net Solutions followed by sessions by Ms. Balpreet Kaur, journalist, writer, and film, Ms. Gurleen Kaur, Director Gaint Punjab Media, Ms. Jas K Shan, TEDx and motivational speaker, Dr. Jaspreet Aluwalia, Director Inspirometer, Ms. Richa Jayaswal, VP HR, Atulya Healthcare. The 3 themes discussed during the session were “Tech Horizon: Navigating Emerging Opportunities in AI Technology, Women in Decision Making: Women Leading in Public Life,& Women in the Corporate Arena. Students learned how AI technology creates new avenues in professional growth to help navigate the evolving landscape of opportunities. The role of women in driving change in the corporate and public space was highly appreciated and acknowledged.
