Women’s Health and Wellness

ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran successfully organized a community awareness session on “Women’s Health and Wellness” for the women of village Jamitgarh, Fatehgarh Sahib. The session focused primarily on cervical cancer awareness, highlighting its early signs, preventive measures, and the importance of regular screenings. Prof. (Dr.) I. S. Dua (M.Sc, Ph.D, FIS (London), FISB, FISPP, FUWA), invited as a special guest, shared invaluable insights on women’s health and emphasized the importance of early detection and proactive care.

The event was witnessed by 60 women from the village who actively engaged in the discussion and showed great enthusiasm towards learning about preventive healthcare.

The program was coordinated and executed by a dedicated team comprising Prof. Dr. Neha Sharma (Dean R&D), Dr. Amresh Kumar (CEO, ACIC RISE), Mr. Kuldeep Singh (P.A. to the Dean), Ms. Jaspreet Kaur (Outreach Coordinator), Mr. Tilak Raj (Young Professional, ACIC RISE) and Mr. Manish Kumar (Young Professional, ACIC RISE).

This initiative aimed to empower rural women with essential health knowledge and foster a culture of preventive healthcare through expert-led dialogue and community engagement.
