The 8th CGC International MUN kicks off at CGC Landran

The 8th CGC International MUN 2k25 commenced today, bringing together inquisitive minds from around the globe. The inaugural ceremony was graced by our distinguished Chief Guest, Ms. Caroline Rowett, British Deputy High Commissioner, British High Commission (Chandigarh), and Guests of Honour, Lt. Gen. KJS Dhillon and Ms. Kanchan Bedi, Head of Sales & Operations, IDP (Chandigarh) along with all the dignitaries.

The ceremony began with a traditional lamp-lighting ritual, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and ideas. Ms. Caroline Rowett inspired the participants with her insightful remarks, encouraging them to unleash their enthusiasm and skills.

Lt. Gen. KJS Dhillon motivated the students with a powerful quote: "Tutna Buri Baat Nahi Hai, Tut Kar Girna Bhi Buri Baat Nahi Hai, Tut Kar Judna Himmat Hai Aur Jud Kar Udna Himmat Hai" (Falling is not bad, falling and getting up is not bad, but having the courage to get up and rise again is what matters). We hope some of the most crucial current issues are discussed and well-heard out.
