Teachers’ Day celebration kick-started on a culturally-high note!

The day 2 of uphoria 2019 was the celebration for the teaching faculty of CGC Landran. As we value the dedication and contribution of our teachers and we are governed by the motto to make CGC Landran – A happy place to live, this event was a true dedication towards achieving this objective on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. The event was presided over by the Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu and President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal together with other dignitaries.

The celebration initiated with a remarkable cultural procession by each department wherein they presented beautiful performances like inspirational skits, traditional dances, devotional singing and special portrayal on the religious theme. The teachers were seen in high-spirits despite the rain and participated with immense vigor and enthusiasm.

The Department of Hotel Management & Catering Technology won the 1st prize for performing a skit depicting the branches of hospitality followed by Department of Applied Sciences, CEC, who bagged the 2nd prize for comic recitation and the 3rd position was grabbed by the Department of Education who depicted the different phases of life in a very interesting manner.
