TALAASH 2.0 – A SEARCH FOR NEW TALENT

Chandigarh College of Hospitality organized “Talaash 2.0 – A Search for New Talent” on 15th October 2025, marking the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam — a true symbol of inspiring and empowering young minds.

The event featured exciting competitions including Student Chefs’ Competition, Poster Making, Rangoli, and Best Out of Waste, providing students a vibrant platform to showcase their creativity and innovation.

Seasoned hospitality professionals; Chef Jagmeet Singh (Executive Chef – Radisson Red) and Ms. Shruti Bhargav (Training Manager - Radisson Red, Mohali, along with Ms. Gurlez, HR Manager, JW Marriott, Chandigarh graced the event as external judges. Internal judgement support was given by Dr. Mandheer Kaur & Dr. Sukhsham Pal from CGC.

Participating schools included Government Senior Secondary School, Gobindgarh; Government Senior Secondary School, Hoshiarpur; School of Eminence (3B1, Mohali); Khalsa Senior Secondary School (Sohana); and Government Senior Secondary School, Kharar. More than 250 students were part of the celebrations and were given hands-on exposure to hospitality focussed activities like mocktail making, towel art, icing the cakes, etc.

Talaash 2.0 truly celebrated talent, creativity, and the boundless potential of young learners, keeping alive Dr. Kalam’s dream of igniting young minds.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Vimal Kumar, Director Principal, CCH appreciating the efforts of participants, judges, and organizing faculty for making Talaash 2.0 a memorable success.
