"We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ms. Meena Kumari, Grassroots Innovator and Founder of the Laddoo Making Machine, and Mr. Jaswinder Singh, Founder of JS Fabricators and Agro Machinery Manufacturers and developer of the Multi-Seed Sowing Machine, as innovators officially incubated at ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran. Both innovators have been recognized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, for developing impactful grassroots technologies that address critical societal and agricultural challenges. The Laddoo Making Machine is an innovative solution that promotes women empowerment by creating self-employment and income-generation opportunities for women and Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The technology enables hygienic food production while contributing to rural livelihoods, employment generation, and community well-being.

The Multi-Seed Sowing Machine is a precision agriculture innovation designed for nurseries, polyhouses, and small farms. It enables accurate sowing of small and vegetable seeds with uniform spacing and depth, reduces seed wastage by up to 50%, improves germination and seedling quality, minimizes labour dependency, and supports sustainable and cost-effective farming practices. This collaboration marks an important step towards nurturing grassroots innovations and accelerating their journey from promising ideas to scalable, commercially viable technologies with meaningful societal impact. The MoU and incubation have been facilitated under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Neha Sharma, Dean Research, and Prof. (Dr.) Amresh, CEO, ACIC RISE Association whose vision continues to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem."
