The week-long NSS Camp at Chandigarh College of Technology (CGC Landran), held from 19th to 25th September 2025, was a journey of learning, service, and community engagement for the students.
Day5– Road Safety Awareness (23rd Sept 2025)
Chandigarh Traffic Police Team conducted an interactive session on road safety, covering traffic rules, safe driving practices, and accident prevention. Students pledged to follow traffic rules and actively promote road safety awareness.
Day6- Health, Wellness & Environment (24th Sept 2025)
The day began with a Medical Camp in collaboration with Gini Advance Care Hospital, Mohali, where eminent doctors—Dr. Nikita (Dietician), Dr. Satinder (General Medicine), and Dr. Deepika (Gynecology & Obstetrics)—provided consultations and conducted general health tests such as BP, Blood Sugar, BMI, and Body Fat Analysis.
This was followed by a Mental Health & Stress Management session by Psychologist, Dr. Gurleen Kaur. The students learned practical tips for emotional and mental well-being. Later, NSS volunteers joined villagers for a Tree Plantation Drive at Chuhar Majra, promoting environmental sustainability and community participation.
Day7- Valediction Ceremony (25th Sept 2025)
The final day saw the presence of Dr. Chander Parkash, Program Coordinator (NSS), I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Dr Gagandeep Bhullar, Director Student Welfare & Alumni Affairs CGC Landran, Dr. Palki Sahib, Director Principal CCT. The guests recognized volunteers’ efforts, with inspiring talks on leadership, responsibility, and community service.
The camp concluded with students carrying forward a sense of achievement, social responsibility, and commitment to serve society, reflecting the true spirit of the National Service Scheme.
