National Science Day Celebrated at CGC Landran

The Department of Applied Science, CEC-CGC & CGC-COE, in collaboration with the Department of Student Welfare, hosted the National Science Day graced by our Hon'ble Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu, President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Chief Guest Dr. Subash Chander Sc. ‘G’ who is currently performing duties of Technology Director, C4I in Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory DRDO,Chandigarh, Guest of Honour Dr. Amit L. Sharma, Chief Scientist, (Head, Central Analytical Instruments Facility Division), Professor of AcSIR (Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research), CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIR-CSIO),Chandigarh Guest of Honour Mr. Gurinder Singh Sidhu an accomplished professional and well-established entrepreneur based in Ludhiana, along with a distinguished panel of guests, including our Campus Director and Deans & Directors.

The event kicked off with an insightful address on technologies, innovation, and the current landscape of science. Our distinguished leaders toured the impressive stalls, showcasing the brilliance of CGC students. Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu applauded the students' innovative spirit and dedication in crafting groundbreaking projects and asked them to identify industry-wise or daily life related problem statements and work on projects accordingly, which would be even more enlightening and a great learning experience. Overall, a truly remarkable day of innovation and vision!
