Medical Camp for a heart-healthy life!

To mark the occasion of World Heart Day, our Department of Pharmacy organized a one-day medical camp and cardiac awareness session in collaboration with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali at Sante Majra, Kharar-Landran Road, Mohali.Dr. Deepak Puri, Director, CTVS, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Mohali along with his expert team diagnosed and counseled the patients who were assisted by the volunteers from our biotechnology department. More than 200 students came for their health check-up.The visiting patients were observed in regards to their blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. The suspected cases for CVD were preceded for electrocardiography. Along with this diagnostic session, a special interactive session with students was also organized by the team of doctors to motivate them about healthy living for a better future.
