At CGC Landran, we are committed to taking meaningful steps toward building a safer and more responsible society. As part of our Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) initiative, CGC's Department of Student Welfare recently launched a week-long Traffic Awareness Camp in collaboration with the Mohali Traffic Police and the Traffic Awareness Organization, an NGO dedicated to promoting road safety.
The campaign featured impactful activities and interactive theatrical performances that delivered powerful messages about road safety, responsible driving, traffic rules, and discipline. Under the able guidance of the Mohali Traffic Police, we led roadshows at prominent locations in Mohali to raise awareness about helmet usage, traffic discipline, and the dangers of drunk driving. Students also gained hands-on experience by assisting the Mohali Traffic Police in traffic management at key junctions in the city. This campaign serves as a vital reminder that following traffic rules is not just a duty but a necessity for our safety and the well-being of others. Simple actions like wearing helmets, avoiding drunk driving, and respecting traffic regulations can save lives and make our roads safer for everyone. Let us pledge to be responsible citizens and make road safety an integral part of our lives, creating a safer and better tomorrow!
