Honouring Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom Day

The Department of Computer Applications, Chandigarh College of Technology, observed Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day on 24th November 2025 with a solemn and enriching event dedicated to the Guru’s timeless message of courage, sacrifice, and spiritual resilience. The programme began with the soulful recitation of Shabads, creating a deeply reflective atmosphere for everyone present. A quiz competition on the life of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was also organised, witnessing enthusiastic participation from 45 students. Nidhi, Gurmehak, and Manpreet Kaur from BCA secured the first, second, and third positions respectively. The event not only honoured the Guru’s supreme sacrifice but also encouraged students to connect with history and heritage in a meaningful way. The programme was thoughtfully organised and seamlessly executed by Ms. Mandeep, Assistant Professor, DCA, CCT, whose dedicated efforts and meticulous planning were truly commendable and contributed greatly to the success of the event.
