CGC Landran shines among the top colleges in India

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran has achieved another victory this year. The institution has been ranked at sixth position among the Top Indian applicants for filing patents from academic institutes and universities including IITs and NITs by the office of Controller General of Patents, Designs, Trademarks and Geographical Indications, Government of India, in its recently published Intellectual Property India Annual Report.

CGC Landran has been actively participating in research and has made strides to always present innovation to society. The engineering departments at CGC Landran are among the most operative departments when it comes to research and innovation. Consequently, the Department of Information Technology saved a spot among the Top 5 Indian Applicants for filing maximum patents ahead of NIT’s, IIT’s other premium institutes, universities and top notch companies. It has been ranked number four by the same annual report.
