CCT Students Achieve Second Position in National Short Film Making Competition, at Amity, Mohali

BSc-Animation and Multimedia students of the Chandigarh College of Technology (CCT) achieved a significant milestone by securing the Second Prize in the Short Film Making Competition held as part of Creative Fusion, an inter-institutional event organized by Amity University, Mohali on November 14, 2025.

The core team representing CCT included Ashishdeep, Yashpreet, Giram, and Jordan, all belonging to the Multimedia Department.

The short film “Werido” was developed through the collaborative efforts of the following team members:

Faculty Mentor: Taisha
Casting Director: Ishu Gautam
Team Members: Jhan, Jaypal, Aditya, Komal, and Balaji

The achievement reflects the creativity, dedication, and technical skills of the students, and brings recognition to the Multimedia Department and the institution as a whole.

Director-Principal Prof.Dr. Palki Sahib Kaur extend a heartfelt appreciation to the BSc–Animation and Multimedia students of CCT for securing the Second Position in the National Short Film Making Competition at Amity University, Mohali. This accomplishment reflects creativity, discipline, and technical excellence of students.
