Applied Sciences Department celebrated National Girl Child Day

The Department of Applied Sciences, CEC-CGC Landran, Mohali organized an empowering event to celebrate National Girl Child Day alongside highlighting the crucial importance of safety and self-defense. This event took place on 23 rd January 2025. The event featured a dynamic lecture led by a renowned Taekwondo master SUSHIL KUMAR, who shared valuable insights on self-defense techniques and the power of self-sufficiency. The master demonstrated practical methods for protecting oneself in different situations but also emphasized the importance of confidence and awareness in ensuring personal safety. Through motivational words and hands-on exercises, attendees were encouraged to build their physical and mental strength, empowering them to take control of their own security.
