A Blood Donation Camp was organised at CGC Landran

A Blood Donation Camp was organised at CGC Landran with the aim to collect 550 units of blood to commemorate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji. Medical teams from the participatory hospitals namely, Max Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Civil Hospital, and Rotary Blood Banks from Mohali, Kharar and Chandigarh supervised the entire event. The event witnessed active participation by our students, faculty and other employees.Our Chairman Satnam Singh Sandhu interacted with the donors and appreciated their support and compassion towards this noble act. Amaninder Kaur, PCS, Deputy Secretary Health & Family Welfare along with other dignitaries from Rotary Club Kharar including their President Harvinder Singh Pal, Chairman Kamaldeep Singh Tiwana, and Secretary Ashok Chand also acknowledged and encouraged the participation of the donors.The event concluded with the achievement of its aim i.e. the collection of 550 units of blood from the donors. As a gesture of appreciation, the donors were also provided with certificates, mugs and other gifts.
