National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 is a common exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) since 2019 for admission in medical education. Candidates seek for admissions in courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, B.Sc. Nursing and others.

NEET 2025 Registration process, Exam dates and other important information

Once you meet all the requirements of NEET eligibility criteria 2025, you can register for this medical entrance exam. For NEET 2025, the registration started on 7 Feb 2025 and closed on 7 March 2025. Eligible students filled their forms by providing all the important details matching with their aadhar cards.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the official date for NEET 2025 as 4th May 2025 (Sunday). The examination will last 3 hours from 2 PM to 5 PM. students are advised to enter their respective examination centers 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

Examination will be in paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode and it will begin at 2 PM and students will get 180 minutes to solve the NEET question Paper. Carrying an admit card is compulsory for entering the NEET 2025 Exam center. Candidates should thoroughly read the instructions before starting the examination and fill all the details correctly.

NEET 2025 marks distribution is as follows:

  • 45 questions from Physics
  • 45 questions from Chemistry
  • 90 questions from Biology (Botany & Zoology)

The above list makes up a total of 180 compulsory questions which the candidate has to answer within 180 minutes (3 hours).

Each question carries 4 marks i.e 720 marks for the whole question paper. For every correct question, 4 marks are awarded and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.

NEET 2025 Admit Card

NTA has announced that the NEET 2025 Admit card will be released by 1st May 2025 so that students can seamlessly enter the examination hall and complete all the formalities without any hustle and bustle. However, the authorities will release the NEET 2025 city allotment slip before the admit cards on 26 April 2025.

Candidates can download neet admit card 2025 from the official website of NTA once released. NEET Admit Card 2025 contains all the necessary information about the students such as name, address, parent/guardian details, registration number, exam center name & address, exam instructions etc.

NOTE: Candidates should check the official NTA website at https://neet.nta.nic.in/ for updates and news about NEET 2025.Make sure to download the NEET admit card 1 or 2 days before the exam and make several copies of it to ensure that it does not get misplaced or damaged. This Admit card for NEET 2025 is a mandatory document for entry in the NEET exam centre or in simple words, it is an entry ticket for the exam.
