How to fill the CGC Admission 2020 Application form?

To be a part of this college, the students need to fill this simple application. The steps to apply online are:

• Open ‘Apply online’
• Then sign up with the college
• Upload required documents
• After that, submit the admission form and college fee to the institute account.

For offline admissions, the students need to simply walk into the Institute and need to bring their original documents along to fill the form and other formalities as required.

CGC Landran Eligibility Criteria

The list of the different eligibility criteria as per the Program requirement is listed below: Undergraduate Degrees/Diplomas :

Eligibility for B.Tech: All those students who have completed their intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects are eligible to get admission to this degree. However, if the students have a diploma in any of the engineering streams from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) Longowal or Punjab State Board of Technical Education or two-year certificate course from SLIET are also eligible.

Eligibility for B.Com (Hons): Students must have passed 10+2 commerce with two subjects from Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Mathematics. Or any other examination of the same level hitherto with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Eligibility for BCA. BBA, BBA (SIM), B.Sc. Non-Med, and Bachelor of Graphic & Web Designing: Students, who have passed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% (aggregate), are eligible.

Eligibility for Pharm D: 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 60% with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Eligibility for B.Ed: Candidates having an undergrad degree can get admission in B.Ed.

Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management: Students who have passed 10+2 in any stream or its equivalent examination can get admission in this course. One important prerequisite for this degree is having a good command over the English language.

B.Sc. Nutrition & Dietetics: Students, who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology from any recognized board or exam of equivalent status, are eligible. Also, students of agriculture or home science who have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible.

Diploma in Food Production: Students who have passed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized educational board are eligible.

Diploma in Bakery & Confectionary: Students who have passed 10+2 in any stream with English as one of the subjects from any recognized board of education are eligible. Eligibility criteria for different Graduate Programs:

Eligibility for M.Tech: To get admission in M.Tech, the candidate must have a B.Tech degree or a B.E. degree in the respective stream.

MBA Eligibility: Students should have an undergrad degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50%.

Eligibility for M.Com: Candidates must have a B.Com degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Eligibility for MCA: Students need to have a BCA degree with a minimum of 50% (aggregate).

Eligibility for M.Sc Biotech: All those candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/Agriculture/Pharmacy/Veterinary/Engineering/Medicine(MBBS)/Medical Lab Technology/Nursing with minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) are eligible.

Eligibility for M.Pharm (Pharmacology): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in B Pharmacy with a minimum of 55% marks. However, the admissions are carried out based on both undergrad degree as well as GPAT.

CGC Landran Merit List 2020 Since the college is affiliated to IKGPTU, Jalandhar, it has to adhere to the university’s paraphernalia. So, the merit lists are made based on exams’ scores: JEE, GPAT, etc. The merit lists are made based on cut-offs of different exams. Then according to the number of seats, the students get admission through online counseling.

CGC Landran Counselling 2020 Once the merit list has been made, the details will be uploaded on the website. In cases of IKGPTU affiliated courses, centralized counseling will be conducted by the university itself. It is carried out in various rounds. First of all, the students need to deposit the counseling fee with which they’d get registered. Afterward, they’ll be able to go through the choice-filling level. After that, the students need to keep a check on the results and report to the allotted institute.
