International Exposure
The whole world is connected with international strings. It is tightly packed and brought together by various media. When it comes to education, International Exchange programs play an important role in bridging the gaps, per se. The International Affairs Department at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran extends various International Programs by dint of which students get exposed to the whole wide world.
Some of these programs include:
Student can attend one semester in a partner university
Student can undertake an internship abroad arranged by a partner university either in a company or the campus itself
2-6 week certificate course with/without credits which is a mix of academic and non-academic activites
Certificate course which the students can attend free of cost from the comfort of their homes and gain an International certificate on successful completion
The students can undertake short study trip of 1/2 week to a partner university which will be a mix of academic and non-academic activities
The students at CGC will get an opportunity to work on projects with International students for 1/2 week in CGC campus itself.
Students in CGC can participate in International competitions being jointly organised by CGC and partner universities and win attractive cash prizes.
International grants are available frequently and meritorious students are awarded the same to undertake International programs.
Faculty from partner universities/colleges keep visiting CGC for delivering guest lectures and online sessions are also delivered.
Students at CGC can also opt for Credit transfer programs wherein they can transfer to foreign university after completing a part of their degree at CGC
Students can opt for higher education in partner universities after completion of their degree in CGC
Department of International Affairs also organises a Career Fair during the annual mega fest “Parivartan ” wherein students are made aware of international career prospects .
It is a 2 day annual flagship event of CGC wherein students from colleges and school across India participate and win attractive cash prizes.
These are available for CGC faculty wherein the faculty can visit partner university to undertake a teaching assignment.
- Dr.P.N. Hrisheekesha , Campus Director and Dr.Ramandeep Saini, Dean International Affairs went to UK for visiting partner universities and signing new MOUs
- Mr.Sebastiaan Bousaww from UCLL Blegium visited CGC for 2 months and delievered guest lectures to MBA and BBA faculty.
