CGC Landran’s 5-Day NSS Camp marks its beginning!

Social service has always remained an integral part of activities at #CGC Landran, we have come up with yet another NSS camp wherein students and faculties from various departments will collectively organize numerous activities for the benefit of the society at large.Yesterday, i.e. the Second of March, was the first day of the NSS camp @CGC Landran.During the introduction hour, an expert lecture was also organized where Captain Satpal Kaur Kalsi from SKR College of Physical Education, Kharar sensitized students to the need of being associated with NSS. This was followed by the formation of six student teams who will be carrying out multiple events including skits, awareness drives, and health check-up camps, tree plantation and the like.The activities such as Yoga, Rangoli making, poster making, slogan writing, and Best-out-of waste are reserved for the second day where Dr. Sonia will be joining the students as a guest at eleven in the morning.The third day will be packed with all the activities that enhance our lifestyle: Aerobics and Cleanliness Drive. Dr. Ritesh will be joining us as our honorable guest at 11:00 am.The fourth day is dedicated to the service of society. The day will be brimming with community services as the Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran will be organizing Eye and General Checkup followed by Tree plantation drive and health/hygiene awareness. The conclusion of the day will be with a movie session.This five-day NSS Camp at CGC Landran will wind-up with a trip and valedictory in the end. Positively, the camp will end on a high note, leaving an impression of working for the society on the hearts and minds of students & faculties. CGC Landran is determined to make students not only ready for the domain of academia but also for other walks of realms of life.
