ECE Department Visits PUNCOM: A Glimpse into Telecom Technology and Career Paths

ECE Department organized an industrial visit to PUNCOM, Punjab Communications Limited, Mohali In India, PUNCOM Pvt. Ltd. is a top producer and provider of IT and telecom solutions and equipment. Students learned about PLCC, optical/transmission equipment, power plants, and voice/data multiplexers. Additionally, they provide the students career guidance in a variety of electronics-related fields. Through conversations, watching how things are done in real time, and asking experts, students had the chance to understand the concepts realistically in a real-world setting.
