Biostartt2k24: Biotech Dept & ACIC RISE Host Startup Programme

Department of Biotechnology organized a capacity building programme “Biostartt2k24: Building Bioentrepreneurial Resilience” in collaboration with ACIC RISE. The programme was inaugurated by distinguished Chief Guest Dr. Ajit Dua CEO, PBTI, #Mohali who emphasized about various aspect of startup development, like business plan, market research and product development. Mr. Munish, Head HR Department Nectar Life Sciences, Campus Director, Director Research also graced the occasion with their presence. Dr. Amit Rai, Scientist D, NABI was the Keynote Speaker, talked about the upcoming market in fermented functional foods. In the Capacity Building Session Dr. Taraka Ramji, Dr. Ankur Gautam, Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Dr. Gowri, Dr. Vipasha Sharma, Dr. Satyam Kumar Agrawal, and Ms Aishwarya from successful startups shared their insights, experiences, and best practices, offering invaluable advice for navigating the complexities of launching and scaling a business.
