The college is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala and is recognized by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and Govt. of Punjab. The college has a unique distinction of being the first ever educational college in Chandigarh-Mohali local planning area. Chandigarh College of Education has been accredited with ‘A’ grade by the National Accreditation Assessment Council (NAAC), Bangalore. The grade was awarded at a high profile glittering ceremony of NAAC organized on 24th April 2011 at Bangalore and was received by Dr Neena Sawhney, Principal of the college.

Our college has a unique distinction of being the first educational college in Mohali vicinity.
