Chandigarh College of Education, Landran, Mohali, since its inception in the year 2005, has been constantly supporting TeacherTraining Education to shape a strong foundation for effective and productive learning in Punjab, India. The school is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, and is recognized by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and Govt. of Punjab. The school has the differentiation of being ‘A’ Graded school by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The majority of the teachers at CCE are NET Qualified and M. Ed degree holders from reputed institutes.
They are well experienced, committed, and have an intensive knowledge of teacher training. At CCE, we plan to set up an information workforce to be the best in the country by guiding the front line teacher training. The college takes it as a mission to shape future nation builders of the country on the dictums and vision of quality education held by the founding fathers of the nation. The Chandigarh College of Education has signed MOUs with six prestigious institutes with the aim to uplift the academic stature. These include Guru Nanak Dev College of Education, Rayat & Bahra College of Education, Divya Shiksha Gurukul College of Education, Attri College of Education for Girls, Indo Global College of Education, and Dev Samaj College of Education.
CCE has formed different clubs that promote and support work towards specific social causes. The four clubs under this department include Human Rights Club, Peace Club, Red Ribbon Club, and Environment Club. The name of each club clearly specifies the nature of the work being done under it. Social service and upliftment of society go hand-in-hand at Chandigarh College of Education.
