The week starting September 1st to 7th is marked as the National Nutrition Week in India. The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran is celebrating the week by highlighting the importance of different food items in one’s diet.
The very first National Nutrition Week was observed in the year 1982 launched by the Food and Nutrition Board under the supervision of the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It goes without saying that food is an essential part of everyone’s life and, keeping a check on the right kind of food should be our topmost priority.
