Biotechnology involves a comprehensive study of basic and applied biosciences including biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, biophysics, chemistry, computer sciences, fermentation technology, agricultural biotechnology and many other specialized subjects. The curriculum of M.Sc. program at CGC, Landran is designed in such a manner that it imparts education which is well-acquainted to the existing as well as evolving industry requirements. The M.Sc. students are given an opportunity to take on training and research projects in final year which further equips them to handle new ventures independently and empowers them to meet professional industry requirements enhancing their academics as well. We encourage our master’s students to come up with research/conference publications which give them a competitive exposure and added advantage over others.
For M.Sc. (Biotechnology) minimum requirement is B. Sc. Biotechnology or B. Sc. (Medical/Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/ Genetics/Biochemistry/Pharmacy/Agriculture/Veterinary/Engineering/Nursing/Medical Lab Technology) or B.Tech (Biotech), MBBS/BDS/ or B.Sc (Hons) from any Honors school in any of these fields.
