About Faculty of Computer Applications

The Faculty of Computer Applications strives to meet the demand for well-qualified and competent computer professionals to fulfill the requirements of the industry. It offers three year full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and nurtures the capabilities of budding professionals for the development of high quality technical manpower to meet the challenges of the knowledge era. The focus of the department is on holistic learning and empowering students to enable them to make significant contributions at all levels.

Dean's Message

The CGC Campus at Gharuan continues the rich legacy of the CGC campus at Landran. The Computer Science related program at CGC like: BTECH (Computer Science & Engineering), MCA and BCA are highly industry relevant and offer a wide range of future career opportunities.

The Department is committed to maintain the highest standards of academic excellence by having the right balance of theory and practical components. The collaboration with industry leaders like Microsoft and Oracle gives a huge benefit to the students. We are committed to giving our students maximum industry exposure by giving an early start to industry relevant training and execution of projects. Given this mix, I’m sure the students will do well and rise to their optimum potential.
