There is every reason to believe that dreams of our students must come true. CGC is a place for creative thinkers, courageous doers, and those interested in business as unusual. We produce principled, innovative engineers who improve the practice of science. Dr. G. D. Bansal
Dr. G. D. Bansal is a well known academician of Chandigarh. He did his B.E. (Mech.) with Honours in 1967 from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. During his four year course of B.E., he was a National Scholarship holder, awarded by Govt. of India. He won a number of scholarships and prizes in his school and in Pre-engineering course also. Dr. Bansal joined his alma mater i.e. the Punjab Engineering College in 1968 as a lecturer and was promoted as Assistant Professor on 01-04-1985. He completed his M.E. (Rotodynamic Machines) with distinction in 1974 from the Panjab University. Not resting in academic pursuit, he did his Ph.D. from University of Roorkee, Roorkee, in 1986 under Quality Improvement Programme of the Govt. of India. He has a rich teaching experience of more than 33 years in the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
