About Faculty of Diploma Engineering

Faculty of Diploma Engineering at CGC,Gharuan laid its firm foundation in June 2010. Its provides opportunity to 10th Class passed Science stream students to become young budding Engineers of the future after 3 years of diploma Engineering Course. It provides them further opportunity to continue Engineering studies and pass out as graduates in any stream other then Diploma Stream they have completed. Hence within a span of 6 years, a 10th pass student can become a full fledged Engineer with Engineering Degree as well as with 3 years Diploma Engineering.

“Chandigarh Polytechnic,Gharuan has been setup with the idea of not just imparting technical know - how with hands-on training to the students after 10th class but also to provide them with personal and spiritual growth thus giving them a competitive advantage in this plethora of look-alike institutes.
Our mission is to “CATCH THEM YOUNG” and train,motivate,mould the youth into world class technocrats of tomorrow with better job opportunities and brighter future as an Engineer. We aim at creating a centre of excellence for providing quality education, teaching, research and consultancy in the field of engineering. Our endeavour is to achieve high standards of personal conduct, excellence in technical education and building up a balanced personality of the students along with meaningful and skilful Technical Education for gainful employment and application of Engineering Knowledge in the field of their choice.
