The Biotechnology Department at CGC is one of the premier centers of Biotechnology education in the Northern region. The teaching methodology in the college, aims to provide optimum environment for the students to explore and fulfill their full potential as Biotechnologists and as human beings. The faculty is committed to strive hard for the overall development of tomorrow’s biotechnologists and imparts congenial & competitive atmosphere that strongly encourage and nurture the students. Academic atmosphere offered at the institute is designed to incorporate a blend of knowledge, skills and the right attitude. We try to inculcate scientific aptitude amongst the students not only through excellent laboratory training and classroom teaching but also through interaction with national and international scientists by organizing lectures, conference & seminars.
