About the Course

Journalism is the art and craft of conveying news and views using newspapers, magazines, radio and television, and the internet. Journalists can work as writers, editors or photographers, broadcast presenters or producers. Mass Communication is the term used to describe the academic study of various means by which individuals and entities relay information through mass media to large segments of population at the same time. In other words, mass communication is the study of mass media and mass media includes all types of media used to convey the information to the audience.

Career Scope

Journalism, Advertising and mass communication graduates can find jobs in the news media, advertising or public relations agencies, publishing houses and research institutes. With the advent of the internet the demand for writers who can generate content for the online space is growing steadily and a number of graduates are talking up content writing for the internet as a lucrative career option.

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 in any stream.

Admission Procedure

Admissions to all seats are made directly by the college on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.
