About the Course

A hotel manager or hotelier is a person, who handles everyday junctions and management of a hotel. Larger hotels often have management teams, instead of individual managers, where each member of the group specializes In a certain area. Hotel industry is an ideal field for students having a liking for Interacting with people. Hotel management degree holders have the option to work in food and beverage (F&B), housekeeping, front office operations, food production, marketing, public relations and recreation departments.

Career Prospects

With the growth of hotel industry, propelled by foreign and domestic tourism and business travel, the demand for well-trained quality personnels, has grown tremendousry. Approx. 4.4 million tourists visit India every year with an annual average growth rate of 12%. It is projected that an investment of Rs. 1100 crores is expected to be made in this sector, In the next few years. As of now, of the 238 million jobs available in this field worldwide, 41 million are in India alone. The domestic tourist market is also flourishing. All this makes the prospects of Hotel Management graduates really bright.

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 in any stream with Minimum 50% Marks.

Admission Procedure

Admission to all seats of Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (B.HMCT) and B.Sc (HMCT) are made directly by the college on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2. Admission to B.ScHHA (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) approved by National Council of HMCT are made on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Online registration can be done on our website www.cgc.edu.in after 10+2 for all seats except those of B.Sc.HHA.to all seats are made directly by the college on the basis of merit of 10+2.
